Every Family Deserves Peace of Mind
When you have a loved one with disabilities, finding the right care isn't just about services—it's about finding people who understand your heart.
A Message from Our Hearts
Hi, I'm Rochelle McGriff Jr., and along with my wife Donna, we're the heart behind Serenity Manor. Our journey began with our son Rick, who has autism. Like you, we've experienced the sleepless nights wondering about his future, the endless search for the right care, and the deep desire to ensure he lives his best life.
That's why we created Serenity Manor - not just as a business, but as a labor of love for families like yours and ours. As parents of Rick, who has autism, Donna and I understand the deep love and concern you feel for your loved one with disabilities.
We founded Serenity Manor because we believe every person deserves to live with dignity, joy, and the best possible care. Our mission comes from the heart - we want to create the kind of place where we would be proud to have our own son Rick live.
We Understand Because We've Been There
As parents of a child with autism, we understand:
- The worry that keeps you awake at night
- The hope you carry in your heart every day
- The dream of seeing your loved one truly happy and thriving
- The relief when you find people who genuinely care
When you entrust us with your loved one's care, you're not just choosing a residence—you're joining a family that truly understands.

About Serenity Manor LLC
Our Mission
To provide compassionate residential care for autism adults in Vero Beach and supported living services throughout Indian River County. We specialize in disability housing that feels like home, where every person with developmental disabilities can thrive with dignity and joy.
Our Founders: Rochelle & Donna McGriff Jr.
Years before Serenity Manor became a reality, Rochelle and Donna McGriff Jr. were like many parents - searching, hoping, and sometimes worrying about their son Rick's future. Rick, who has autism, opened their eyes to the challenges families face when seeking quality disability housing in Vero Beach.
Through countless sleepless nights and extensive research, they realized that what families needed wasn't just another group home for intellectual disabilities - they needed a place that understood their hearts, their fears, and their dreams.
This understanding became the foundation of Serenity Manor LLC, where assisted living for developmental disabilities means more than just care - it means family.

Questions We Often Hear
How do I know if Serenity Manor is right for my loved one?
We understand this is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make. We encourage you to visit, ask questions, and trust your instincts. If we're not the right fit, we'll help you find someone who is.
What makes you different from other group homes?
We're parents first, providers second. We understand because we've been exactly where you are now. Every decision we make is filtered through the question: "Would this be good enough for Rick?"
When will Serenity Gardens be ready?
We're currently in development with an expected opening is TBD. We'll keep all waitlist families updated on our progress and give you plenty of notice about move-in timelines.
How do you handle medical needs?
We coordinate with your loved one's existing medical team and can assist with medication management. However, we do not provide 24-hour nursing or therapy services on-site.
Can families visit anytime?
Absolutely. This is your loved one's home, and you're always welcome. We encourage family involvement and regular visits - in fact, we insist on it.
